Prawn curry/ Sungtachi Kadi

Prawn curry is an all time favorite dish. Its like comfort food at its best. Its that one dish that won’t ever let you down and its the first recipe I shared with my eldest daughter-in-law.  You can pair it with almost anything and I promise you it will taste just divine, although I recommend having it with rice.

Tips-If you don’t get fresh prawns you can use frozen ones but they won’t taste as good.  Medium prawns are the best for this curry, avoid using big prawns. If you don’t like very spicy food then, you can decrease the red chilli count by 2 or 3. Seasonal produce works best for the acidity component, like raw mangoes ninth summer however if that Is not available you can use the substitutes given. If you do not get tamarind or raw mango you can use a dry form of mango (we call its amboshi in Goa )Aai special : Goan prawn curry

The finer you can grind the masala the tastier the curry will be.

Serve hot with steamed rice
